📌 CCMS Welcomes Our New President

Dear Colleagues,

I am honored to announce my inauguration as President of the Chester County Medical Society (CCMS). It is a privilege to serve such a dedicated and talented community of physicians at this pivotal moment for our profession.

We stand at a crossroads in Chester County and beyond, with a unique opportunity to unite and shape a sustainable future for medicine. Our county board of directors is comprised of exceptional physician leaders, and together, we are poised to make a meaningful impact.

This year, we have initiated a promising collaboration as the “The United Physicians Guild” (created by the CCMS in September, 2025) with the Office and Professional Employees International Union (OPEIU/AFL-CIO). This partnership will strengthen our advocacy at local, state, and federal levels, and provide both independent and employed physicians with valuable discounts on insurance, consultation services, and products.

During my three-year term, my vision is to:

Enhance communication among our members by identifying and implementing efficient technological solutions tailored for busy clinicians to become engaged at the local level.
Foster greater collaboration within our membership and with larger organizations such as the Pennsylvania Medical Society (PAMED) and other partners.
Build coalitions with key stakeholders affected by healthcare system inefficiencies, advocating together for shared goals and innovative solutions.
Develop creative approaches to address the diverse challenges faced by physicians across specialties and employment settings, with a focus on strong advocacy in legislative and large healthcare systems.
Collaborate with existing/emerging (or propose and or launch if need be), pilot projects in our county and beyond that advance the quadruple aim: improving quality, service and availability, cost control, and healthcare worker satisfaction and sustainability.
Make professional advocacy more engaging, enjoyable, and impactful for all physicians. Though requiring work for some, and a modest financial commitment, making connections and collaborating is fun.

I am inspired by the collective strength and vision of our medical community. Together, we can create lasting changes and ensure a vibrant, sustainable future for our profession.
