The Chester County Physicians’ Dinner will be held Thursday evening, September 21, 2023 at the Concord Country Club, 1601 Wilmington Pike, Concordville, Pa.

Our keynote speaker for the evening will be State Representative Arvind Venkat, M.D., FACEP.   Dr. Venkat represents the 30th legislative district in Pa. which is in the Pittsburgh area.  He is an Emergency Medicine physician.  Representative Venkat is the first Indian American to be elected to the state House, and the first and only physician to serve in the General Assembly in nearly 60 years.   The theme for his presentation will be his transition from medicine to politics, and the importance of physician advocacy.  Dr. Venkat completed his undergraduate and graduate education at Harvard, his medical education at Yale, and his emergency medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati/University Hospital.  We are honored to have him speak at our dinner.

We are also privileged to have another distinguished guest join us that evening.  F. Wilson Jackson, M.D.,  FACP,FACG,AGAF, President of the Pennsylvania Medical Society who will update our guests on his initiatives for the State Society and his accomplishments thus far.
